Our Environmental Ethics Charter .

• At the B&B "La Chabetaine", the maximum has been implemented for responsible environmental management determined to reduce the impact of the bed and breakfast activity on the environment.
• La Chabetaine is located in the Haute Sûre and Anlier Forest Natural Park, wishing to make our contribution to nature, more than 500 trees with colorful foliage, 22 fruit trees and hedges of old species were planted in order to create a bocage and offer forest fruits to the birds.
• Similarly, small areas of flowering meadows, with native wild plants, have been sown, favorable to pollinators, in order to participate in the preservation of biodiversity.
• Then, the management of water, energy and waste has been particularly studied in order to meet the commitment to respect our own ethical charter of contribution to the preservation of the planet.
•The cleaning products and individual comfort products that you will find in the rooms are certified organic, Sulfate-free, Paraben-free, Silicone-free, 98% natural composition.
• For cleaning, we use homemade preparations based on household vinegar and / or essential oil. We avoid aggressive chemicals as much as possible, but due to the risk of COVID-19 contamination, bleach diluted to 1% is recommended for the disinfection of toilets and surfaces at risk.
• If the grain that we feed to our chickens is organic, they gladly eat any leftover food. In exchange, they offer us good eggs that you can enjoy for breakfast or in a culinary preparation.
• The breakfast jams are homemade, with fruits from our garden if the harvest is good, but also with fruits bought from local producers, preferably organic if needed.
• We do not do table d'hôtes. It's a choice. In our town, there are 3 good and really nice restaurants and within a radius of 12 km you will find a plethora of restaurants.
We also keep a register of the best addresses.
On the other hand, we invite our guests, whether they are there for one night or more, to share a moment of conviviality on arrival or on Tuesday evenings in summer.
It will be about getting to know each other, informing visitors, especially having a good time.

Together, let's preserve our greatest wealth: Nature
